the venue

Yu:ki Ruwi, in Currency Creek, South Australia, is nesteled among the gumtrees with views across vineyards, farmland, native bush and the flax filled Tookayerta Creek.

The name Yu:ki Ruwi, meaning Canoe Country in Ngarrindjeri langauage, was developed through a relationship with Miwi Inyeri Pelepi Ambi Aboriginal Corporation (MIPAAC) to reflect the place in which our land sits amongs the canoe trees and the creeks and rivers of Ngarrindjeri land.

Previously One Paddock & before that Currency Creek Estate and ….. the property continues to reflect past land users with a modern twist.

A space for people to gather, celebrate and connect. Yu:ki Ruwi has been thoughtfully created to suit those who enjoy a space amongst nature.

our story

An idea dreamt over a dinner discussion to build a place where people could gather, connect and learn.

We’re Zoe & Talia, two friends who originally connected over a love of the outdoors and spending time with good people outside.

Yu:ki Ruwi came about when we had dinner one night and were dreaming up future plans for ourselves. When we then found this beautiful property for sale everything seemed to fall into place.

With the help of Talia’s parents, Tim & Cheryl, we’re brining this beautiful place back to life & filling it with beautiful people & memories.
